Q| How do I pay?

A. Hotel Pushpak accepts the following modes of payment.

Our Payment system accepts the following modes of payment:
* Debit your Indian Bank Account (ICICI, CitiBank, HDFC, UTI, Centurian Bank, and more)
* Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club International, Citibank e-Cards, JCB Cards)
If you choose not to use our payment gateway, you can also send your payment using the following mode:

* Demand Draft in the name of "Hotel Pushpak, Bhubaneswar" . Your reservation will be blocked for a maximum of 7-days from the date you made the reservation. If we do not recieve the payment within this time, our system will automatically cancel the reservation.

Q| How much advance do I pay now?

A. Below is our advance payment calculation rule:

  • 1 day booking - 100% of booking amount (before tax).
  • 2 or more days booking - Advance amount will be 50% of your total reservation amount (before tax if applicable). Maximum advance amount payable online is NOT to exceed the higher amount of Rs. 12000/- or 1 day booking cost. It may vary for certain hotels.
  • Exceptions - Depending upon *hotel policy, additional advance amount may be requested.

Example 1: (No Tax)
If you reserved a room whose daily rent is Rs. 1000 (after all discounts). No tax is applicable for the room. You reserved for 3 days. Your total rent is Rs. 3000. You pay 50% of total rent. So you advance amout is Rs. 1500.

Example 2: (Maximum advance of Rs. 12000)
If your total booking amount is Rs. 25000 (after discount), then your advance amount is Rs. 12000 (max advance we will accept).

Example 3: (5% Tax)
If your room rent for 3 days before tax is Rs. 3000 (after discounts) and applicable tax is Rs. 150. Your total booking amount is Rs. 3150 (3000+ 150). Your advance amount is 50% of booking amount before tax, i.e. Rs. 1500 (50% of Rs. 3000).

Example 4: (1 Day Booking)
If you reserved a room whose daily rent is Rs. 1000 (after all discounts). You reserved for 1 day. Your total rent is Rs. 1000. The advance amout is Rs. 1000.

Note: NO tax applicable if they do not appear in your billing page. Certain locations do not charge taxes. For some hotels, taxes and service charges may be included in the room rent and are not charged separately.

* Advance payment policy: Some hotels may request full payment to guarantee room availability. In such cases you may have to make the full payment in advance. This may happen during peak / holiday season.


Q| When do I pay the remaining amount?

A. The remaining amount is due upon arrival at the hotel during the time of check-in.


Q| Why should I book with you?

A. Booking online will entitle you to benefits like online instant discount which may not be available at the hotels directly.

Online booking also avails you other benefits like complimentary breakfast, free pickup from station/airport, etc. These special offers vary for different hotels.

You get a fixed rate. Rates in many hotels go up during busy/holiday seasons. However if you book with us, you will get the discounted rates.

Also, you see the details of the hotel, compare prices and special offers for different hotels and choose the one that best suites you.

Here is how it works :
(1) Book 10 nights over a period of time (or at once) at any of our 2000+ hotels.
(2) Once you have stayed in the hotels, you will earn 1 night free.

Q| Is my credit card/bank information secured?

A. Yes. We use CCAvenue gateway which is secured with VeriSign secured payment system. All your credit/debit card or bank information is highly secured.


Q| My travel plan has been cancelled. What can I do now?

A. You can choose from two option: Using the advance payment as a credit for a future booking or getting the refund.

1. Use your advance payment as a credit - ZERO FEE
You may postpone the booking to any future date within 1 YEAR from your original booking date. If you don't know a  date yet, you can let us know whenever you decide. There will be NO FEE for the postponing. All of your advance payment will be used for the future booking. The future booking can be in any of our locations throughout India in any hotel (restrictions apply)

2. Refund - 15% CANCELLATION FEE
There will be a 15% cancellation fee on your total booking amount. The remaining amount will be refunded in 2 business days.

Q| Do I pay any fee for changing/postponing my reservation ?

A. NO. Absolutely not. As long as the change is atleast 24 hours before the arrival time, we would be glad to postpone your reservation.

Q| What is my cancellation fee?

A. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  1. Advance cancellation: 15% cancellation fee for all cancellations made atleast 48 hours before arrival date. The remaining amount will be refunded to your credit/debit card account within 3-4 business days after cancellation. For Puri, all cancellations must be made before 7 days to receive any refund.
  2. Within 48 hours of arrival date: 1 day room charge + 15% cancellation fee will be applied for cancallations made within 48 hours of arrival date/time. *Restrictions apply.
  3. CHANGES: Any changes to the booking must be made before arrival at the hotel. Otherwise the NO REFUND policy will be applicable.
  4. NO SHOWS: Full booking amount will be charged to your card in case of no show.

* Cancellation policy may vary during peak-season in which case refund will be based on the hotel policy. Peak season cancellation must be done atleast 7 days prior to arrival date to qualify for refund. HotelPushpak.com has all rights to change cancellation policy at any point of time without any advance notice.


Q| What is the Refund Policy?

A. Once booking is cancelled and refund requested, we will process the refund within 14 business days. Most of the time it is less than that. Refunds will be processed back to your credit card or online bank account if refund is requested within 90 days of advance payment. If it requested after 90 days, we will request a bank account number to which refund will be transfered.


Q| Can I make changes to my reservation information (arrival date, room type)?

A. Yes. Any change has to be made atleast 24 hours before arrival time. If the time of cancellation is less than 48 hours before arrival, you have to call our hotel to cancel the reservation. Email cancellations will be honoured only if done atleast 48 hours before arrival date.

Q| Is my booking confirmed if I have made the payment?

No. After recieving the payment, we will find room availability. If the room is available for the requested hotel and dates, you will recieve an email from us confirming the booking and confirming the reciept of the advance payment. Otherwise, your advance payment will be immediately refunded.


Q| How do I know if my boking is confirmed?

Once we have checked with the hotel about the room availability, you will recieve an email from us confirming your booking. This usually takes less than 24 hours. But it might sometime take longer.


Q| I have already made a booking and have made the advance payment as well. However I have not received the confirmation email yet. What should I do?

All bookings made between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM IST ( Indian Standard Time) are activated within 2-3 hours of booking. Booking made after 9 PM are activated on the next business day.

If you have made the booking for over 24 hours and have not received a confirmation email yet, please email us at reservation@hotelpushpak.com We work hard to respond to all emails as soon as possible.

HotelPushpak.com business hours are Monday - Saturday between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. However calls may be answered on Sundays as well.
