Had booked hammir palace for my stay in Ranthambhore from 28th till 30th oct 2011 for 6 persons.
Hotel Pushpak though did find another hotel - Raj palace for us to stay, as hammir palace had revised its rates.
All i was unhappy about is that i could not reconfirm my booking with Raj Palace and it was very likely that I would have been stranded at 1 in the morning when i reached Raj Palace at Sawai Madhopur. Though Raj Palace did provide me 2 rooms which they had saved in case of emergency, though i could not get the same rooms which i had booked and paid advance for. I got one deluxe room with hot water facility and one cottage room without hot water facility instead of 2 ac cottages with full services.
And one more thing, even with my repeated confirmation from Hotel Raj Palace i could not go for the morning safari as they informed that the booking time was over. Now this was a complete disaster and i felt really frustrated and agitated. and on top of it I was asked
that if i still want to go for the safari, then i would have to go book a canter myself at 4:30 in the morning and none of raj palace person can assist me on this.
This could have been avoided if the trip was confirmed and reconfirmed by hotel and had assisted me in clearing the same.
