The service of the hotel was overall good. However, a common problem through out most hotels in ooty is the non availability of hot water despite the guarantee by hotelpushpak for 24 hrs hot water facility. We travelers are not used to cold climates and facing cold water for use is a very difficult issue. The hotel we stayed in was kind enough to provide hot water on request and daily provided hot water from 6 am to 9 am. But i assume that hot water geysers are supposed to be a basic entity in all hotels or am i mistaken?
Apart from the hot water issue i think the hotel i stayed in was quite appreciable.

Hotel in Ooty is bit away from bus stand and other tourist spots. Rooms are nice. Room service have to be improved a lot. There are mostly north indians so dishes are also north indian. Hot water facility was only for a particular time, need to be regularized.

Pathetic staff service, pathetic room service. For eg: 24 hrs hot and cold water, free bed tea and room cleaning was not there. Unhygienic bathroom and toiletries. No clean bed sheets. When I checked in at Hotel at 10.00 PM with my child they were not ready to co-operate. I asked them for hot water as my child, in journey had done lots of vomiting and I need to clean him then also they said that they don't provide this service. We stayed there for 2 nights and I got very bad service and experience. During second day of our stay, the room and dust bin was not clean. The bed sheets were not changed. While check out they charged me additional service tax for credit card. Where as while booking there was no service charge. My suggestion to customer never select this Hotel Race view. Hope my feed back will have some true results and proper care will be taken in future.
