Mr farooq is an excellent person. But the locality and the approach road towards the hotel is not at all worthy for tourist place like kasmir.Stay at the hotel was very nice and it is all due to excellant perosonality of the owner. The cook is good one and what we had in our meal was very good. The room service is also good. But according to me the rate charged for the room as per its location and approach road is too high. The complementary ride to tulip garden was extra bonus for us. The welcome drink of kewaha from Mr Farroq was also pleased us very much. kasmir has very good potential for tourism although it is presently a best destination for each indian tourist, still there are many things to be done there for more attraction. Among all these factors cleanliness is utmost necessity. This quality is to be developed throughout kashmir valley and it should be the MANTRA for couple of years. This thing is to be induced among local people who gives service to the tourist.

One reviewer said "We had a nice and trouble free stay at the hotel. We liked the hotel. The staff was friendly and did a good job of taking care of our issues. During our stay, the room was clean. The front desk was attentive and checked us in without much difficulty. We would stay in this hotel again."
I agree with this review. This Srinagar hotel is truly outstanding.
